Safety considerations are paramount at every stage of the planning and execution of a contract. Our health and safety management system is set to OHSAS 18001 standards and is externally audited on a continuous basis.
Demolition can often be carried out close to occupied housing or schools, and therefore site security and tenant liaison are primary concerns. Delivery and removal of rubble, road closures and the control of noise and dust are all carefully managed to ensure the health and safety of all affected. Scaffolding, hoarding and vehicle movement around the site are all planned and controlled with safety being the top priority.
As a member of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors and a participant in the NFDC’s Accredited Site Audit Scheme (NFDC ASAS) our health and safety management systems are externally audited on a continuous basis to ensure that they meet the highest standards.
Our health and safety management systems are also fully accredited by the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).
