Flint Maisonettes

Flintshire, UK

Freeley delivered the demolition of multiple maisonette blocks in a sensitive town centre location, paving the way for new housing as part of a wider regeneration scheme.

With many residents having lived in the properties for decades, respectful resident liaison was central to the project.

All managed within a busy urban environment, the works involved:

  • Asbestos removal
  • Service disconnections
  • Bulk excavation
  • Full site clearance

Careful traffic management, dust suppression, and noise minimisation measures were implemented throughout.

The project also required close coordination with a range of specialist contractors including archeologists and ecologists.

Appointed following a competitive tender process, Freeley delivered the project on time and within budget, maintaining high standards of safety, control, and professionalism at every stage.

"We would like to take this opportunity to thank Freeley for their support during this difficult project. I would have no hesitation in recommending Freeley Ltd to any potential future client’s or other authorities for their assistance with any demolition project that may arise."
